Hello! We are Danielle and Martin Maigaard, owners and operators of Central Soyfoods.
Our lifelong passion for fresh, specialty foods and backgrounds in restaurant, grocery and food-catering led us to take over Central Soyfoods in 2019. It was a life-changing decision that we are very happy to have made!
Central Soyfoods has always remained a small family-owned business since it was established in Lawrence, Kansas in 1978 - with more than forty years of finetuning handmade artisan tofu products. Central Soyfoods currently supplies more than 30 grocery stores and restaurants in the Kansas City area and produces more than 2000 lbs. of fresh tofu every week. We are honored in carrying the legacy and artisan traditions into a new era.
Central Soyfoods has thrived by keeping things simple and local. We plan to remain a small, family-run tofu shop with a focus on great Tofu!
